Prizes

432 TECHNOLOGIES has won numerous awards for its innovation in the field of vertical take-off and landing and geocoding system

432 TECHNOLOGIES received the PERSEUS label prize during the FID 2025 (Forum d’Innovation Defense, Paris).

This distinction, awarded by representatives of the French Navy, the French Defense procurement agency (DGA) and the Defence Innovation Agency (AID), recognises the innovative CARDINAL system.

CARDINAL was put through its paces by operational crews from the surface and submarine fleets, naval aviation, the protection forces, and MRCCs with its SAR assets

CARDINAL is a low-tech, innovative solution that simplifies the transmission of trajectories and positions, ultimately facilitating the coordination of resources:
Maintains connectivity in critical situations / data – EM access denial
Secure and resilient communications
✅ Compatible with all existing & future communication systems

PERSEUS is a joint initiative of the French Navy (Marine nationale) and the French defense procurement agency (DGA) to stimulate and accelerate technological innovation

C-SAR is CARDINAL‘s dedicated module for sea rescue operations.
This low-tech transmission protocol facilitates the transmission of positions and search areas in a more straightforward, efficient and expeditious manner. We are committed to remaining agnostic in terms of communication channels.

The system was rigorously tested in real conditions in 2024 and 2025 by the French Navy and by MRCC Jobourg and its SAR response resources in the English Channel.

432 TECHNOLOGIES is the winner of the 6th Nautical Innovation Trophy, which was awarded at the Grand Pavois boat show in La Rochelle in 2025.

The 6th edition of the Nautical Innovation Awards has been organised by Atlantic Cluster, Sud Ouest Événements and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region.

Chaired by windsurfing’s multiple world champion, Antoine Albeau, the jury emphasised the importance of innovation in this nautical field.

432 TECHNOLOGIES and SIREHNA received the PERSEUS label prize at EURONAVAL 2024.
This distinction, awarded by representatives of the French Navy (Marine nationale) and the Defense Innovation Agency (AID – Agence de l’innovation de défense), recognises their innovative MARGO system following their full-scale, long-term demonstration on a ship and its helicopter.

MARGO is a cutting-edge data centric solution that transforms the capabilities of civilian and government ships:
Real-time security monitoring of onboard systems
Optimisation of the deployment of craft and aircraft
✅ Operations possible in more demanding maritime environments

Successfully tested at sea and in the air on a FREMM destroyer and a NH-90NFH helicopter during a woldwide 6 months cruise,

MARGO proves that dual innovation is an essential lever for the maritime future

CARDINAL is smart geocoding solution designed to better meet the needs of rescue centres on land and at sea, enabling them to coordinate more effectively. It simplifies the transmission of positions in all conditions, particularly in off-grid or emergency situations, by using tangible elements for people under stress rather than the many numbers and letters that make up latitude and longitude.

432 TECHNOLOGIES is the winner of the 2024 call for innovation workshopatelier de l’innovation” projects from the Basque Country Agglomeration Community (CAPB – communauté d’agglomération Pays-Basque).

Through these “atelier de l’innovation” innovation workshops, the Basque Country Agglomeration Community (CAPB) supports businesses in its territories. The aim is to encourage the development of innovative technologies or practices with high added value for the region and a commitment to ecological, environmental and social transition.

i-Naval aims to showcase national technological innovations in the field of naval defence through demonstrations to local and national stakeholders (elected representatives, civil and military authorities, academia and industry). The event will be a mixture of presentations and demonstrations of innovative technologies.

432 TECHNOLOGIES participated with its offline location smart geocoding solution, which simplifies the transmission of orders and coordinates.

MARGO Mark Z is called as ZEPHYR-H and HEOL within the French Armed Forces. This project has been awarded in May 2021 with the AUDACE prize for the French Navy by the Marechal Leclerc de Hauteclocque Foundation and the French Minister of the Armed Forces with the support of its innovation agency (Agence de l’innovation de Défense).

The MARGO Mk. Z project, conceived and launched in 2019 by naval aviators as part of the French Ministry of Defence’s intrapreneurship initiative, aims to develop tools to enable aircraft to be used on board ships in a wider operational area, while ensuring optimum safety and modernising the process of transmitting and validating the applicable restrictions. The information collected by the system will also allow a better understanding of the landing, the interface between the aeronautical and maritime environments.

ZEPHYR-HEOL / MARGO Mk.Z system has reached full operational capability (FOC Q3 2024) in the French Ministry of Armed forces and French government’s helicopter and drone operators:

  • Chartered flights
  • On board all the French Navy’s aircraft and helicopter carriers: multispots vessels, single spots ships and all VERTREP capable ships
  • On board all French government helicopter operators: more than 800 aircraft
  • French Navy, naval aviation
  • French Air and Space Force
  • French Army
  • Gendarmerie air forces
  • Civil protection
  • French Customs
